It’s that time of year again. As the Holiday Season approaches, another Doyle’s Guide rankings for Family Law in the Wollongong and Southern Highlands has been released. We are proud to share that Hansons Lawyers has been recognised by the Doyle’s Guide as one of Wollongong’s leading law firms for 2021.
The Family Law team is passionate about using their legal experience to help their clients. We are very proud to see two of our own recognised for their expertise by the Doyle’s Guide, as well as the team as a whole.
Hayley Williams
A Wollongong local, Hayley began her legal career as a Law Clerk in 2006. She’s been practising in the areas of Divorce and Family Law from the very beginning and brings with her 14 years of experience in the field. As a Law Clerk, Hayley was in charge of running conciliation conferences for her clients, a task often reserved for solicitors. Hayley is a passionate practitioner and is as focused on her client’s best interests as she is getting to know them on a personal level.
This is Hayley’s fourth time being recognised by the Doyle’s Guide for her legal expertise. She first appeared in the rankings in 2017 and has been regularly recommended by the Doyle’s Guide ever since.
Alongside her work in the area of Divorce and Family Law, Hayley also assists families in the adoption process in NSW. Hayley is able to provide advice, as well as assist in preparing and finalising applications for adoption. She is one of the few lawyers practising in this area in the Illawarra. Hayley understands that sometimes the process has complications, and she is ready to help families navigate them.
Jeff David
A foundation partner at Hansons Lawyers, Jeff brings an impressive 41 years of legal experience to the Family Law team. Jeff has also been an Accredited Specialist in the area of Family Law since the Law Society of NSW introduced the scheme in 1992. This is one of the highest accreditations attainable for Australian solicitors, and Jeff’s clients can rely on his 28 years of demonstrated excellence in the field.
This is eff’s sixth time appearing on the Doyle’s Guide. He has regularly appeared in the rankings since the Wollongong and Southern Highlands region was covered by the Doyle’s Guide in 2016. During this time he has been recognised as one of the leading Divorce and Family lawyers in the region.
Jeff recognises that when clients come to him with problems, honest and down to earth advice is what they need. His approach is to look for a sensible and negotiated outcome for his clients. However, if push comes to shove and a fight seems inevitable, you’ll be glad Jeff is on your side.
